What’s included in Scorpion parking sensors?With each set of Scorpion parking sensors supplied by ParkingSensors.ie you get high quality parking sensors accompanied by an in car warning buzzer which will audibly guide you safely into any parking space with the greatest of ease. · 4 Recess sensor heads
· 1 Control module

The system works by emitting ultrasonic waves from the sensor heads covering a large area behind the vehicle. The beams are reflected by obstructions behind the vehicle, and re-enter the sensors. The reflected beam information is processed to calculate the distance from the car to the obstacle behind. The parking sensor system is activated when reverse gear is engaged and stays active for as long as the vehicle is in reverse gear. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from an obstacle behind the car the audible alert will emit intermittent beeps. As the vehicle gets closer to any obstacle behind the vehicle the frequency of the beeps increases. At 40 centimetres from any obstacle behind the vehicle the beeps become a continuous solid tone.
