What’s included in VEBA colour coded parking sensors?With each set of Veba colour coded parking sensors supplied by ParkingSensors.ie you get high quality parking sensors accompanied by an on dash LED display which will visually and audibly guide you safely into any parking space with the greatest of ease. You can take your mind off damaging your vehicle and concentrate on the task at hand.

The system works by emitting ultrasonic waves from the sensor heads covering a large area behind the vehicle. The beams are reflected by obstructions behind the vehicle, and re-enter the sensors. The reflected beam information is processed to calculate the distance from the car to the obstacle behind. The parking sensor system is activated when reverse gear is engaged and stays active for as long as the vehicle is in reverse gear. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from an obstacle behind the car the audible alert will emit intermittent beeps. As the vehicle gets closer to any obstacle behind the vehicle the frequency of the beeps increases. At 40 centimetres from any obstacle behind the vehicle the beeps become a continuous solid tone.

Maintaining your parking sensorsLooking after your parking sensors couldnt be easier. You dont have to do a thing only ensure that they are kept free of dirt, snow and mud. Other than that the sensors require no routene maintenance and will not give you any problems. As long as dirt is not permitted to build up on the sensors they will work accurately every time.
